What is it?
At The Newtons, we’ve created The Newtons Academy as a specialized training program designed to teach essential skills in copywriting and art direction. Think expert-led lessons, hands-on projects and direct feedback from the pros. You’ll get the real-world experience to jumpstart your career. It’s more than just learning, it’s a launchpad, to build your portfolio, level up your skills, and for many, kickstart a career at The Newtons.
If you're coming for a copywriter position, it doesn't matter what degree you have, or if you have a degree at all. However, if you're applying for an art position, you need to have completed at least the first year of an art direction & design school. For both, prior advertising experience isn't required as long as you have endless enthusiasm and a desire to become part of the Newtons team and you haven't yet blown out the 30 candles on your birthday cake 🎂
Ideas. A lot of Ideas. You’ll come to the Newtons Laboratory once a week for a lesson, and then you’ll have plenty of assignments to complete and a lot to think about. Of course, none of these tasks will be based on actual client briefs from the Newtons… you get what we mean.
