UNTANGLING POSSIBILITIES

THE CHALLENGE

ELEPAP unique approach to treatment of children with motor, sensory and developmental disorders falls under the term Early Childhood Intervention. The method utilises the neuroplasticity of the brain to rewire - therefore improve, or in some cases, correct) disorders in children age 18 months up to 7 years old. We needed to highlight this method for the rest of the world to know.

THE APPLEFALL MOMENT

This was no easy task since it's a rather complicated and sensitive topic. We thought of a simple analogy; A child’s brain with neurodevelopmental challenges is like a tightly tangled ball of yarn. Complex at first glance, but should be untangled? Full of potential. And who better to untangle this than the guiding hand of ELEPAP by finding the end of the thread, gently loosening knows and revealing new possibilities.

THE SOLUTION

A stop-motion animation film that narrates this procedure as if it's a story from a fairytale. The technique wasn't just an aesthetic choice but a structural metaphor for therapy itself. For such sensitive topics, where the human factor is paramount to children’s development, we simply couldn’t create something that wasn’t handcrafted.
