AEGEAN is launching its first communication campaign for its Gift Cards. Α present that doesn’t just make people fly from joy, but also gives them endless reasons to celebrate all year long.

THE APPLEFALL MOMENT

In Greece, a name day is just as important as a birthday. Once a year, your name becomes a reason to celebrate and to receive gifts. But there’s a way to “hack” the celebration system and get gifts all year long. Many Greek names turn into shorter nicknames, and there’s one diminutive that works for almost everyone: “Akis.”

Which means that if you introduce yourself as “Akis,” no one really knows what your original name is, so you can claim any name day you want.

THE SOLUTION

That’s exactly what our protagonist does. Akis celebrates again and again, each time revealing a different full name to those around him. And he does it for one reason: because there’s a gift that you’d want to receive every month, every week… maybe even every day.
