UNDER THE STARS AR EXEPERIENCE

THE CHALLENGE

For the iconic “Under the Stars” tournament, Panathinaikos BC asked as to create a piece of communication that will introduce the new generation and remind the older one of the club great European history.

THE APPLEFALL MOMENT

Let's “write" the European story of Panathinaikos BC, the “Seven Star team”, in the sky above the Kallimarmaro stadium.

THE SOLUTION

We created an AR Experience through an effect on TikTok, that turned the sky of Athens into our very own billboard. Users could point their phones at the stars, and just like the sky guide apps, they could discover the seven European cups as constellations in the sky above the stadium. 

THE RESULTS

Within just one day, the effect became the most successful AR experience for a live event in Greece until now and quickly entered the top 1% of TikTok's Effect House with more than 650 user-generated videos uploaded from the event in just few hours, while the content went viral.
